Workshop General Hand (Signage/Shopfitting)

At Flexalite, we design and manufacture custom signage, retail displays, exhibition stands, and creative brand experiences. Every project is different, so if you’re looking for a job where no two days are the same, this could be the perfect chance.

We’re growing quick and are looking for an enthusiastic Factory Hand / Labourer to join our production team.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be part of a skilled team that builds everything from illuminated signs and retail displays to exhibition stands and custom fit-outs. You’ll gain experience working with a huge variety of materials and equipment while learning new manufacturing techniques.

Your day could include:
Building and assembling custom signage and display products
Reading drawings and following production plans
Using workshop machinery including saws, drills and hand tools
Working with timber, aluminium, plastics, acrylics, composite panels and LED lighting
Learning LED soldering and illuminated sign assembly
Helping solve production challenges with our design and manufacturing teams
Maintaining high-quality workmanship on every project
Keeping the workshop clean, organised and protected





Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need to know everything—we’re happy to teach the right person. What matters most is that you’re reliable, hardworking and enjoy building things.

You’ll be a great fit if you:
Are handy with tools and enjoy practical work
Have experience in manufacturing, shopfitting, construction, fabrication or a similar trade (preferred but not essential)
Enjoy learning new skills and taking on different challenges
Can read or are willing to learn technical drawings
Take pride in producing quality work
Have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team
Hold a current Australian driver’s licence
Are an Australian Citizen
