About the role
The primary purpose of the Warehouse Officer is to assist with the loading of vehicles, maintain stock control and support the overall facility work scopes.

Status:Full time
THIS IS A LOCAL POSITION - FIFO APPLICANTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
Specific Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance of all yard procedures
Coordination of trucks, cranes and other vehicles or equipment through the facility
Monitor and document containers going on and off Marine Vessels
Loading and unloading of offshore containers, freight and specialist equipment
Loading and unloading of materials and equipment from vehicles and restraining in accordance to the load restraint guide
Compliance with chain of responsibility requirements
Correct operation and use of yard / warehouse equipment including hand trolleys pallet jacks, scales, air compressors, high pressure water cleaners, loading ramps, fuel pumps, etc
Stuffing and de-stuffing of offshore containers
Unloading and loading of drill pipe and casing
Inspection and maintenance of containers, slings and lifting equipment
Housekeeping of yard area
Assist in loading and unloading of light vehicles for country deliveries
Ensure stock control of all received and dispatched containers
Ensure all stock is correctly stored in vessel order and to meet customer needs
Ensure efficient operation of site's plant and equipment
Provide support in operations area as required
Complying with all HSE policies and procedures
Tally and reconciliation of material against con notes, manifests, packing lists, stock count sheets, etc.
Sorting and organisation of Customer goods
Accurate and timely completion and processing of all transport and logistics paperwork (con notes, manifests, etc.)
Basic inspection of customer goods and equipment for signs of wear or damage
Clean vehicles, equipment and customer goods using high pressure water cleaners and air compressors as required
Perform daily pre-start checks and inspections on all plant and equipment prior to use
Report all damages, faulty equipment, incidents or accidents in a timely manner
Correct and safe operation of all vehicles
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years relevant Supply Base Experience
High risk forklift ticket
Experience in handling tubular equipment with 16t forklift
Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
Holder of a current MSIC clearance or able to obtain
Familiarity and knowledge of products and equipment common to the construction industry, oil and gas Drilling campaigns and the broader Logistics industry
Understanding of current Load Restraint standards and requirements
Basic understanding of warehousing and inventory principles and practices
