About Us
We are currently seeking a dual qualified Electrician/ Communications/security Technician with domestic, commercial & industrial experience to join our Electrical Team based in Somersby.
Whilst working within the Electrical team you will be exposed to multiple disciplines throughout the electrical trade including but not limited to Commercial, Industrial, Maintenance and Fault Finding.
To be considered for this role you will be able to meet the following essential selection criteria:
Experienced knowledge installing Structured, Fibre & Coaxial Cabling Systems
Advanced knowledge in Networking Layout, Scheduling & Equipment Design (i.e., Network Switches, VLAN's, WAP's, Patch Panels, etc.)
Experience in CCTV Install & Commissioning
Exposure to Security Alarm/ Access Control Install & Commissioning
Intermediate/ Advanced Computing troubleshooting skills
Cablers License
Contractor's License
Certificate 3 in Technical Security
Relevant trade qualification
A current NSW Driving Licence
Current WHS white card




Able to interpret electrical schematics and controls
Extensive knowledge of AS/NZS ****:****, AS/NZS ********:****, AS/NZS ****:****, AS/CA S009:****, & be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge in all facets of electrical & communication work and a firm commitment to secure work practices
Ability to liaise with builders, foremen and project managers during contract works
Proven ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
Ability to adapt to a constant changing work environment and scheduling
Takes pride in their work and completing projects to the highest of standards
Willingness to train apprentices with a positive attitude to ensure they become the best tradesman
The following qualifications are not essential but will be highly regarded in the selection process:
Elevated Work Platform Licence
Confined Space
Emergency First Aid / CPR
Working at Heights
Low Voltage Release and Rescue
Trained in Milestone
Trained in integrity security systems
This is a full-time permanent position within our Electrical team.
To be successful in this role you must be self‐motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner.
Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre‐employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
Rate Will Be Negotiable Based On Experience And Qualifications.
