About the role
As a Teaching Fellow (Psychology),you'lljoin the School of Education and Community Wellbeing, whereyou'llinspire and support the next generation ofpsychologyprofessionals.You'llteachacrosstheBachelor of Psychological Science,andGraduate Diploma of Psychologydelivering engaging learning experiences in subjects such asThe Evolution ofPsychology, LifespanDevelopment, Brain andBehaviour, Fundamentals of Personal and SocialBehaviour, Psychology of Personality.
You'llcombine outstanding teaching practice with digital capability, learning design and innovation to create learning experiences that are flexible, engaging andcentredaround student success.

Full-timeor Part-timepermanent positionlocatedat Flinders StreetCampus Hybrid(Campus andonline)- Approximately 2 days on campus and 3 days online
Whatyou'llbring
Master's degree in Psychology(or a closely related discipline)or a partially completed PhDisrequired; acompletedPhD is highly regarded.
Demonstrated experience teaching psychology in a higher education setting and/or relevant professional experience in psychology, with the ability to bring contemporary industry knowledge and practice into the learning environment.
Strong facilitation skills across online and face-to-face learning environmentsin HigherEducation
Experience using learning technologies and digital tools to enhance teaching
Confidence using, or enthusiasm for adopting, AI-enabled approaches in education
Experience designing engaging learning and assessment activities
A student-centredapproach to teaching and learning
Strong communicationand collaboration skills
A growth mindset and commitment to continuous professional learning
Relevant postgraduate qualifications (or working towards completion)
