About the role
As the Psychologist Team Leader, you will lead and support a small team of psychologists while maintaining a manageable clinical caseload.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced psychologist who enjoys mentoring others, building a positive team culture and helping clinicians grow in confidence.
You'll have the autonomy to lead with your own style while receiving support from an experienced broader leadership team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing day-to-day leadership and support to a small psychology team
Mentoring clinicians and supporting their professional development
Providing clinical guidance and assisting with complex cases
Promoting a positive, collaborative and person-centred team culture
Supporting high-quality clinical documentation and service delivery
Maintaining a manageable clinical caseload
Working collaboratively with other discipline leaders and senior management
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
About you
You will be a warm, approachable and experienced psychologist who genuinely enjoys helping others succeed.
To be considered, you will have:
General registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
Strong clinical experience and sound professional judgement
Experience supporting, mentoring or leading other clinicians
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A collaborative and person-centred leadership style
The ability to balance clinical responsibilities with team support
A genuine alignment with the values of a non-profit organisation
Formal leadership experience is welcomed; however, experienced psychologists who have provided mentoring, supervision or informal team support are also encouraged to apply.
Board Approved Supervisor status is advantageous but not essential.
