Join the Integrated and Community Health Human Resources team based at Blacktown Hospital, where you'll play an important role in supporting managers and employees across a diverse portfolio.

What you'll be doing
As a Human Resources Officer, you'll provide high-quality generalist HR advice, administrative support and customer service to managers and employees across Integrated and Community Health.




You'll work closely with HR Business Partners and senior HR leaders to deliver practical workforce solutions while ensuring compliance with NSW Health policies, awards and employment legislation.
Provide first-line HR advice on recruitment, employment conditions, policies, procedures and workforce matters
Support end-to-end recruitment and employee lifecycle processes while maintaining accurate HR records and reporting
Respond to HR enquiries, coordinate requests and connect clients with the appropriate People and Culture specialists
Prepare HR correspondence, reports, presentations and provide administrative support for projects, meetings and training
Maintain confidential HR information, documentation and databases with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative support in one or more human resources or related functional areas
Demonstrated familiarity with, and ability to attain a sound understanding of legislative requirements, organisational policy and procedures associated with the management of a contemporary people and culture service area
Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and discretion while maintaining confidentiality
Strong customer service focus, along with high level interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with diverse groups of people




Effective oral and written communication skills, with attention to detail and demonstrated ability to prepare drafts and final formatting of correspondence such as letters, briefs, reports and presentations
Demonstrated effective organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
Ability to be flexible and adaptable and have valuable team skills as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated intermediate computing skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as the ability to use human resource information systems and records management systems
