relief across acute, rehabilitation, aged care and mental health

Position
Profile:
We are seeking
dedicated Clinical Psychologists (Grade 2) / Clinical Psychologist
Registrars (Grade 1) to join our Clinical Psychology and
Neuropsychologyteam and provide evidence-informed psychological
assessment, formulation driven psychological interventions to
hospital inpatients and outpatients across diverse clinical
specialties.
The
successful Clinical Psychologist applicant/(s)
will work within an interdisciplinary and professional team
context, performs a clinical, consultant, education and research
psychology service with individuals, couples, families, groups,
other professionals, across Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group
in a site wide leave relief capacity. Provides clinical supervision
to Clinical Psychology Registrars and Trainees.
The successful
Clinical Psychologist Registrar applicant/(s) will
work within an interdisciplinary and professional team context
under clinical supervision, provides a clinical, consultant,
education and research psychology service to individuals, couples,
families, groups, across Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group in
a site wide leave relief capacity.. As a registrar you will be
provided with weekly clinical supervision, professional support and
access to Registrar Development, Support and Supervision group
within the Department to assist you to achieve your competencies
and progress to full registration as a psychologist with area of
practice endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology
Board of Australia. Both Positions shall practice in accordance
with laws and ethical standards governing psychological practice as
per the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) and SMHS policies and
guidelines.

We are a
dedicated and energetic team of Clinical Psychologists and
Neuropsychologists at Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group
(FSFHG), providing inpatient and outpatient specialised
psychological services tailored to needs of the individual patient
and their family/carers. Working within a multidisciplinary team,
we offer comprehensive assessments, formulations and interventions
for children, adults,



and older adults with complex medical,
chronic health, cognitive, rehabilitation and mental health needs.
Our goal is to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-informed,
holistic care, supporting engagement with treatment and
rehabilitation. We also provide education and consultation to
hospital teams. We are committed to prioritising ongoing
professional development, clinical supervision, and quality
improvement and clinical research to ensure continuous improvement
in our services.

Fiona Stanley
Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a
range of health services including the State Rehabilitation
Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health
unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State
Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as
heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
Fremantle
Hospital is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on
providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary
rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.
Fiona Stanley
Hospital Cockburn Mental Health Facility is a 75-bed
voluntary inpatient facility inpatient mental health facility in
Cockburn for women's mental health disorders, eating disorders and
alcohol and other drug detoxification and recovery
support.
