Full Job Description
The AIRWAY GSA team is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Cargo Services Officer to join our Sydney office in Mascot.
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to gain valuable experience and build a long-term career within a stable, growing, and highly respected organisation.
Working with multiple international airline partners, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day cargo operations while receiving comprehensive training across airline systems, processes, and procedures.
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you'll be supported by a collaborative and experienced team who are committed to helping you learn, develop, and succeed in a fast-paced and rewarding aviation environment.
No prior airline or cargo experience is required!
Just a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
This is a
full-time
position, working Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
The Role
Basic Responsibilities
Support day-to-day cargo operations for a portfolio of international airline partners
Learn and use airline cargo reservation systems to manage bookings and cargo movements
Complete accurate data entry and maintain operational records
Assist with customer enquiries, quotations, invoicing, payments, and month-end reporting
Support flight planning and daily operational requirements across contracted airlines
Assist with sales and marketing activities to help grow cargo revenue
Work closely with experienced logistics and aviation professionals, gaining exposure to the end-to-end air cargo process
Develop your knowledge of airline operations, cargo management, and industry best practices through on-the-job training
About You
You are a recent graduate or early-career professional who is eager to learn and grow,



with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships
A collaborative team player who is willing to support others when needed
Well-organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to perform in a rapid-paced environment
Confident using technology and learning new systems and processes
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and eagerness to develop your career
Previous exposure to aviation, logistics, freight, or customer service is advantageous but not essential
