We're currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our dedicated Altona North team on the PM shift.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering long-term stability, great conditions, and the chance to be part of a high-performing logistics operation that connects customers across Australia.
About the Role
As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring freight is loaded, unloaded, and handled safely and efficiently.
You'll work collaboratively within our operations team to support interstate and regional freight movements.
Key Responsibilities
Safely load and unload palletised freight from trucks and containers
Move, stack, and store freight with accuracy and care
Inspect load restraints, packaging, and freight condition before dispatch
Report any damages or equipment faults immediately
Palletise and prepare freight for travel where required
Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards are always met
Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational targets
Overtime opportunities available as needed
What You'll Bring
Valid Forklift License (LF) – essential
Minimum 2 years' experience in a transport environment
Experience working in a linehaul environment highly regarded
Experience operating long-Tyne forklifts highly regarded
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Knowledge of load restraint and Dangerous Goods handling desirable
Robust commitment to safety and WHS compliance
