Chef / Cook | Day Off - Southport
Day Off is looking for a proactive and organised Cook to join our founding team.
The Role
The Prep Master:Your primary focus is prepping fresh ingredients to perfection, ensuring the kitchen is stocked and ready for the daily rush.
Service Support:You'll jump in to help with service during peak times, ensuring food goes out quickly and efficiently.
Food Aesthetics:You have a genuine interest in food presentation.




You understand that "we eat with our eyes" and ensure every dish looks beautiful and consistent.
Kitchen Upkeep:Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including managing the dishwasher and ensuring the kitchen stays spotless throughout the shift.

Requirements
Experience:Previous experience in a sandwich shop or cafe setting is highly preferred.
Active & Proactive:You are a fast mover who sees what needs to be done before being asked.
Team Player:You have great communication skills (Fluent English) and a positive attitude that adds to the cafe's vibe.
Reliability:Punctual, professional, and ready to be part of a brand-new opening.
