Due to our expanding client base and increased demand for our fabrication services, MCP Oz requires a qualified Boilermaker to join our Canning Vale based workshop.
The successful candidate will be offered:
Fulltime role, Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 3.00pm (40 hours/week)
About the role:
The successful candidate will be part of small team working in a 2-bay full serviced workshop and have the following skills and expertise:
Boilermaker Trade Certificates with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
Proficient in a variety of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues




Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and the ability to work safely at all times
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other technical documents to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures
Perform cutting etc. with oxy/acetylene
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards
Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently
Maintain a clean and organised work area, and ensure all tools and equipment are well-maintained
