AutoFix Tyres & More is a family owned and operated mechanical workshop based in Alice Springs.
We are looking for a fully qualified mechanic to join our team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking team player who is experienced in all facets of mechanical repairs and maintenance.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role involving a variety of mechanical repairs, servicing and tyre work. You'll work on a wide range of passenger vehicles, 4WDs and light commercial vehicles while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out scheduled servicing and mechanical repairs.
Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently.
Complete inspections and provide clear reports on vehicle condition.
Perform tyre fitting, balancing, wheel alignments and puncture repairs.
Carry out suspension, steering and brake repairs.
Maintain a clean, organised and secure workshop.
Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and workshop standards.




Communicate professionally with the team regarding vehicle repairs and recommendations.
Deliver excellent customer service through quality workmanship.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Automotive Technician (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
Current Australian driver's licence (manual preferred).
Experience in tyre fitting and wheel alignments.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
High attention to detail.
Honest, reliable and motivated with a positive attitude.
Pride in producing quality work.
Ability to manage workload efficiently.
