About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you'll provide high-quality Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Community Access supports, empowering NDIS participants to live independently, safely, and with dignity.
You'll work closely with participants to help them achieve their goals while becoming part of an organisation that values professional development, career progression, and leadership from within.
Key Responsibilities
Provide active support within Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes.
Assist participants with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Support participants to access the community, attend appointments, build social connections, and develop life skills.
Implement Behaviour Support Plans where required.
Promote participant choice, independence, dignity, and rights.
Complete accurate documentation and progress notes.
Work collaboratively with families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals.
About You
We're looking for people who see disability support as a career,



not simply casual work.
You'll ideally have:
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related qualification (preferred).
Experience working in SIL and/or Community Access.
A strong understanding of person-centred practice and NDIS standards.
Experience supporting participants with complex needs and behaviours (desirable).
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Reliability, professionalism, compassion, and a willingness to learn and grow.
Most importantly, you're someone who wants to develop your skills, contribute to a positive team culture, and progress into senior or leadership opportunities as our organisation continues to grow.
Essential Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Working With Children Check (where applicable).
Current First Aid & CPR certification.
Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle.
Vaccinations as required for the role.
