We are excited to be seeking an experienced Early Childhood Administration Assistant to join our team. This part-time position offers up to 12 hours per week, worked across four mornings, and provides administrative support to LEVNT's Geelong services,
St Paul's Kindergarten Grovedale
and
St John's Kindergarten Newtown
.
As Early Childhood Administration Assistant
you will provide administrative support to the service leadership team. With a professional and helpful manner, you will support families and customers by providing them with information about our programs, fee inquiries and services offered, ordering of supplies, processing documentation, and general administration tasks.
The successful candidate will have highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, a proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, and a strong commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for children, families and colleagues.
This position is available for immediate commencement.
Key Skills and Experience
Previous experience working in an administration assistant role, with exposure to the early childhood industry.
Knowledge of the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector and early learning frameworks (preferred).
Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Sound computer skills in all Microsoft Office systems.
Strong organisational skills including the ability to time manage, priorities, produce work of high quality and consistently meet deadlines.
Knowledge of Xplor and Storypark would be advantageous, but not essential.
Applicant must also hold Current Working with Children Check

Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to work in a systematic manner and work autonomously.
Ability to demonstrate innovative and creative thinking.
Ability to prioritise a heavy workload and manage a busy, fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively with the Leadership team.
