About the Role
Lynk Global is recruiting on behalf of an established civil contractor seeking an experienced
Civil Project Engineer
to join its project delivery team in Toowoomba.
You will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of residential and commercial subdivision projects, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, developers and local authorities. Projects include bulk earthworks, stormwater drainage, water and sewer infrastructure, services and road construction.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering civil projects safely, on time and within budget
Planning and managing project programs, budgets and reporting
Effective programming and coordination of daily site activities
Communicating with clients, consultants, councils and subcontractors
Coordinating employees, subcontractors, suppliers, plant and equipment
Overseeing earthworks, drainage,
services and road construction
Managing procurement, variations and project documentation
Supporting and mentoring site teams to achieve project outcomes
Managing competing priorities and working to project deadlines
Upholding all quality, safety and environmental standards onsite
What You'll Bring
Previous experience as a Civil Project Engineer
Experience delivering residential subdivision projects
Experience delivering earthworks, drainage, services and roadworks
A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Solid commercial awareness and project-planning skills
Strong knowledge of subdivision construction methodologies
Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities
A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively with site-based teams
