Ready to take the next step in your Occupational Therapy career? We are seeking a motivated
Occupational Therapist
to join our acute inpatient team in a
Grade 2
maternity leave position until September ****. This is an excellent opportunity to consolidate your acute clinical expertise, expand your leadership and supervision experience, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient-centred care within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
The Contract:
Part Time, 64 hours per fortnight | Fixed Term (Maternity Leave) until 27 September ****.
Job share arrangements and reduced hours will be considered for the successful applicant.
The Position:
As a
Grade 2 Occupational Therapist
within our acute inpatient service, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based assessment, intervention and discharge planning to support patients to maximise independence and achieve safe discharge outcomes. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will also provide supervision and support to staff, students and Allied Health Assistants while contributing to service improvement initiatives.
The ideal applicant will demonstrate:
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
Experience working within an acute or inpatient hospital setting, including complex discharge planning.




Ability to prioritise clinical demands and deliver high-quality patient-centred care.
Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills.
Experience supervising staff, students or Allied Health Assistants and contributing to service improvement activities.
