Heavy Vehicle Automotive Trainer
(Mobile Plant Experience Preferred) – Townsville QLD
About the Role
Have you trained your own apprentices as a Mobile Plant Technician and now want to shape the next generation of the trade?
Tec-NQ is looking for an experienced tradesperson with a passion for teaching who is ready to bring an engaging, hands-on approach to the classroom and workshop.
You don't need prior teaching experience — we'll support you with coaching, mentoring, and training. What matters most is your industry expertise, qualifications, and the right attitude.
To be successful you will have:
· A trade qualification in Automotive Mobile Plant with post-trade work experience in industry
· Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****, TAE***** or TAE*****) or a higher qualification*
· An understanding of vocational education and training
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Current C-Class Australian Drivers Licence; and
· Queensland 'Blue Card' to work with children or eligibility to attain.
