Based in Cloncurry, this Council-operated Early Learning Centre is entering an exciting new chapter, with a brand-new purpose-built service due for completion at the end of ****.
As Assistant Director, you'll work alongside the Director to support the day-to-day operations of the service, lead and mentor educators, and help shape the future of early childhood education in the community.

$100,000-$110,000 per annum
(depending on qualifications and experience) plus superannuation

About the Role
As the Assistant Director, you'll work in partnership with the Director to ensure the smooth operation of the service while fostering a positive, collaborative culture for educators, children and families.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the day-to-day management of the service
Leading,
mentoring and inspiring a team of educators
Supporting curriculum planning and quality educational programs
Building strong relationships with children, families and the wider community
Maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation
Contributing to continuous improvement and quality outcomes across the service
Assisting with administrative and operational responsibilities
About You
You'll be an experienced early childhood professional who enjoys leading by example and supporting others to thrive.
To be successful, you'll have:
An ACECQA-approved Diploma or Early Childhood teaching qualification
Experience in a leadership or senior educator role within an early learning service
Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and Early Years Learning Framework
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality outcomes for children and families
Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
