This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and will require working on rostered Saturday mornings.
About the role:
This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Store Manager to help the Alexandra Stores' success by driving sales strategy, supporting people leadership/management initiatives, and providing expert technical sales advice and service to a range of horticultural and agricultural clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Drive sales growth through superior technical advice and in-store service.
Ensure service expectations are exceeded, and any client queries or concerns are addressed as soon as possible.
Assist the Store Manager with administration tasks as directed.




Autonomously manage the Store, acting as the first point of contact for clients and employees in the absence of the Store Manager.
Skills & Experience:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate well to both staff and clients.
Proven sales ability and supervisory experience with knowledge of the local rural sector.
Proven computer administration, retail operations, and inventory management skills.
Outstanding organisation and team building skills.
