Connex Education is working with a SEN school in Wakefield who are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work full‐time starting September ****.

The school itself caters for pupils with a range of needs.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a child 1:1 in a KS2 class.
The school aims to develop children's social and emotional skills.
Each member of the school shares their expertise and knowledge to promote inclusion.
Assignment Details
The role is to start in September **** – December **** initially but may be extended.
If you are available before September, the role has the potential to start before.

Person Specification
Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a recent one
Have Maths and English to GCSE Grade C or equivalent




Hold previous experience of working with children and young people
Have experience of supporting pupils with SEN needs

All appointments will be made subject to a DBS check.
