About the role
Join our Learning Innovation team and help shape engaging, accessible and innovative learning experiences for students across the Faculty of Health.
Working closely with academic staff and subject matter experts, you'll design contemporary curriculum, learning activities and assessments that enhance student success.
You'll apply evidence-based learning design principles while incorporating digital technologies, multimedia and creative approaches to create high‐quality educational experiences that support excellence in teaching and learning.
In this role, you will:
Collaborate with teaching teams to design engaging, accessible and inclusive learning materials, activities and curriculum using evidence-based learning design principles.
Develop practical learning design solutions that respond to stakeholder needs and enhance the student learning experience.
Design authentic, accessible and inclusive learning experiences that promote student engagement,
align with learning outcomes and assessment, and develop evaluative judgement.
Seek, reflect on and apply feedback from colleagues and supervisors to continuously improve professional practice and analyse, improve and innovate learning design processes and practices.
Establish relationships and work collaboratively across the Faculty, Learning Futures and with divisions across the University.
Plan, prioritise, document and report on projects and work activities to support effective team collaboration and delivery.
About you
We're looking for a collaborative and innovative learning design professional who enjoys partnering with academics to create exceptional learning experiences and works well in a dynamic environment.
You will bring:
A degree with substantial subsequent experience, or an equivalent combination of extensive technical, administrative or management expertise.
Demonstrated experience delivering complex work in dynamic and changing environments.
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build productive working relationships.
Experience coordinating projects or leading work to achieve successful outcomes.
