In this role, you will:
Book Management
Achieve new business, rate and retention targets for an assigned book of business to support Unit/SBU/Branch revenue and profit goals
Design and implement effective portfolio analysis, profit and retention strategie
Collaborate with NUC and other internal stakeholders on book management strategy, maintaining a consistent voice with brokers and providing feedback and solutions where required
Monitor and report on the status of open claims for assigned accounts, making recommendations as appropriate
Prepare thoroughly for account reviews with management, demonstrating strong knowledge of risk, industry, the competitive environment and Chubb's products and capabilities
Underwriting Quality & Compliance
Adhere to appropriate underwriting, compliance and file documentation standards and workflows to support Branch/SBU revenue and profit goals
Within delegated authority, evaluate and accept or decline new lines, renewals and endorsements
Assess risks outside authority and make recommendations for acceptance or declination
Recommend account trade-off decisions and provide input to management on profit analysis, premium planning and market/environment analysis
Sales and Marketing
Achieve individual producer targets as specified in the business plan
Develop and/or implement an effective business development strategy to prospect for current business across SBU/product lines and broker segments, collaborating with key internal stakeholders to maximise sales and marketing outcomes
Actively manage the sales pipeline to identify and develop new business prospects
Broker and Key Account Management
Manage broker and key account relationships across the assigned territory through proactive communication, visitation and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to retain and grow the business
Visit assigned producers to discuss risks, communicate Chubb's business appetites and generate new business opportunities
Monitor producer performance by analysing quality, volume and mix of business, addressing deviations and escalating where required
Plan and execute a regular quality underwriting travel program to support underwriting and marketing goals, including ongoing new business solicitation and presentations to prospective producers
Manage resources and expenses associated with these activities in a strategic and appropriate manner
