As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead our national sales function and play a pivotal role in driving our long-term commercial strategy.
Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, this is a senior leadership position responsible for leading our Technical Sales team, strengthening strategic customer relationships and delivering sustainable revenue growth across our key markets.
As the second-in-command within the Sales & Marketing function, you'll work closely with our Executive Leadership Team to translate strategy into commercial success while developing the capability for broader executive leadership responsibilities.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines commercial strategy, sales leadership and customer engagement.
You will lead a national team, build commercial capability, improve sales performance and develop long-term partnerships with some of Australia's leading industrial organisations.
Working collaboratively across Engineering, Operations, Product Management, Marketing and Finance, you'll ensure customer commitments are aligned with operational capability while identifying new opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop Laserbond's national commercial sales organisation.
Drive sustainable revenue growth across strategic industries and markets.
Translate business strategy into executable commercial plans.
Coach, mentor and develop a high-performing Technical Sales team.
Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and customer focus.
Strengthen relationships with key national and strategic customers.
Lead major commercial negotiations, contract discussions and pricing strategies.
Identify new markets and commercial growth opportunities.




Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management and CRM performance.
Improve forecasting accuracy and commercial reporting.
Chair Sales & Operations planning meetings.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing and Finance to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Demonstrate visible leadership in safety, quality and ethical commercial practices.
About You
You are an experienced commercial leader who enjoys developing people, building customer relationships and delivering sustainable business growth.
You are commercially astute, highly influential and comfortable operating across both strategic and operational environments.
You will bring:
Extensive experience in senior commercial or sales leadership roles.
Proven success leading national sales teams.
Strong experience managing strategic customer relationships.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commercial growth strategies.
Excellent commercial and financial acumen.
Outstanding leadership, coaching and mentoring capability.
Exceptional negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership experience.
Experience in utilising digital CRM software to the advantage of a business.
