The Project
We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator for a unique water infrastructure pipeline project, initially Brisbane headquarters based, then mobilising to Toowoomba in early **** on a 5:2 DIDO roster.
Your opportunity
Your main responsibility is to effectively manage the administration of all subcontractor and supplier contracts within prescribed cost limits and contribute to ensuring financial and operational commitments are met or exceeded.
Additionally, your role responsibilities will include:
Effectively managing the administration of all subcontract and supplier contracts
Assisting the Project Manager in the preparation and review of the project monthly reports
Developing and managing own work schedule to deliver required outputs to expected quality and within timeframes
Assisting with any contractual issues on the project
What You'll Need to Succeed
Relevant experience in a contracting construction environment that engages in various subcontractors
Robust understanding of relevant legislation
Ability to effectively prioritise and manage time and workload
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team that delivers excellence
Intermediate to advanced computer skills,
proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel
Effective interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflict in a high stress environment
Assisting the Project Manager in the preparation and review of the project monthly report including providing workings completed, programme and cost data
Managing the financial administration and site office administration for the project
Developing and managing own work schedule to deliver required outputs to expected quality and within timeframes
