About The Role
Reporting to the WHS Operations Manager, you will support the implementation of Work Health and Safety initiatives across the business.
Working closely with operational teams, you will assist in promoting a strong safety culture through effective incident management, risk assessment, consultation and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:




Support the implementation of Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies, procedures and practices
Respond to WHS incidents and workplace issues in a timely and professional manner
Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action planning
Support WHS audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinate WHS committees and consultative groups
Assist with risk assessments, control reviews and WHS evaluations of new projects
Provide WHS advice, training and support to managers and employees
About You
Our ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a WHS role and enjoy partnering with stakeholders to improve workplace safety outcomes.
With a practical and proactive approach,you're comfortable supporting incident management, risk assessments, audits and compliance activities within a complex operational workplace.
Relevant WHS qualification (Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety, or a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety)
Experience in a WHS role, ideally within a complex or high-risk operational environment
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations and standards, auditing, incident investigation and corrective action management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to influence and build rapport across diverse teams
Strong organisational and analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset
