Machinery Operator
An exciting opportunity has become available to join our Vineyard team in the Machinery Operator position, based at our Keyneton Vineyard, in the renowned Eden Valley region.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced full-time Machinery Operator to support vineyard operations across our premium estate vineyards. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in operating and maintaining machinery to a high standard, and is committed to working safely and efficiently as part of a dedicated team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Keyneton Vineyard Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
· Operation of tractors, forklifts, front-end loaders, other heavy vehicles and vineyard equipment
· Performing vineyard tasks such as spraying, slashing, spreading, trimming, netting, post knocking and trenching
· Installation and maintenance of vineyard irrigation systems
· Assist with specialised trellis work
· Identify, report and assist in the control of vine disorders and damage
· Participate in seasonal tasks such as vine pruning, shoot thinning and canopy management
· Machinery calibration and accurate recording of spray applications
· Other housekeeping and maintenance tasks from time to time as advised
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a reliable, motivated and a safety-conscious individual who enjoys working outdoors in a dynamic agricultural environment. You will possess strong communication skills, a practical approach to problem solving and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
You will also demonstrate:

· A positive attitude and strong work ethic
· Pride in maintaining equipment and delivering high-quality work
Licences & Qualifications
· Current driver's licence (manual licence preferred)
· Forklift licence and ChemCert accreditation (highly desirable)
· Qualifications in Viticulture, Horticulture or a related field (advantageous)
Previous experience in a similar Machinery Operation position is essential.
