We are opening our second venue - a new flagship indoor family entertainment centre in
Braeside, Melbourne VIC
, spanning over
12,000m2
and set to become one of the largest indoor entertainment venues in Australia.
Following the success of our first venue, we are entering the next stage of growth with a bigger vision, a larger operation, and a stronger leadership team.
This is not just another assistant management role. It is a rare opportunity to help build a flagship venue from the ground up, support a high‐performing team, and play a key role in the future expansion of our business.
With additional venues already planned, we are looking for ambitious leaders who are ready to grow with us and become part of our long‐term leadership pipeline.
About the Role
As the
Assistant Venue Manager
, you will work closely with the
Venue Manager
to ensure the venue operates at the highest standard every day.
You will be involved in key parts of the business including shift leadership, guest experience, team development, operational standards, basic reporting, and continuous improvement.
This role is designed for someone who wants to step into a
Venue Manager
role in the near future.
This is a
full‐time
role based in
Braeside, Melbourne VIC
. The venue is expected to open around
late August
, and the successful candidate may start earlier to support pre‐opening preparation and training.
The venue operates across weekends, evenings, school holidays, and peak trading periods. As part of the leadership team,



you will help ensure the business is well supported during these times.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Venue Manager in the overall operation of the venue
Lead daily operations and ensure smooth shift execution
Supervise team leaders and frontline team members to maintain high standards
Deliver exceptional guest experiences across all areas of the venue
Assist with rostering support, labour planning, and day‐to‐day workforce management
Monitor operational performance, identify issues, and suggest improvements
Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and team members
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained
Handle guest feedback and resolve operational issues professionally
Take responsibility for venue operations when the Venue Manager is absent
What We're Looking For
Essential
Previous leadership experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail, leisure, tourism, or customer service
Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude with good problem‐solving ability
Well organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment
Confidence leading and motivating teams
Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
Willingness to learn, grow, and take on greater responsibility




Availability to support a venue that operates across weekends, evenings, school holidays, and peak trading periods
Current right to work in Australia
Highly Regarded
Experience in a large, quick‐paced operation
Experience supporting rostering, labour cost control, and daily operations
Experience training and developing team members
Understanding of KPIs and operational reporting
Mandarin speaking and listening ability (helpful for communicating with Mandarin‐speaking guests or team members)
