As Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, guiding a diverse and dedicated team to deliver exceptional, patient-centred care. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the pharmacy, ensuring clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and outstanding customer service. Working closely with hospital stakeholders, you'll help drive innovation and continuous improvement across dispensary, clinical, and retail services.

St John of God Bendigo Hospital is a 122-bed contemporary private hospital located in central Victoria providing high quality acute medical, surgical health & oncology care services for people in Bendigo and surrounding areas
Key responsibilities
Ensure the business performs efficiently and achieves key metrics
Be involved in the strategic planning and operations of all aspects of the Pharmacy business
Motivate, guide and lead our pharmacy team to provide exceptional healthcare and customer service
Ensure the business complies with legislation and contractual obligations and continuously improves its clinical and pharmacy services
Lead and manage dispensary, retail and clinical services with the support of an experienced team




Work closely with the St John of God hospital team to ensure outstanding patient care and customer service.
About you
We are seeking a passionate employee who can confidently lead and mentor a dynamic team. You will have a can-do attitude, with the ability to identify opportunities for development and growth for the business and think outside the box.
Key Requirements
Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA
Previous experience leading a team in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
An organised self-starter
Versatile and adaptable
Able to build effective relationship across executives, nurses, doctors and senior hospital staff
Passionate about delivering exceptional pharmacy services to our patients and hospital
