We invite applications from suitably qualified Primary School Teachers with an ability to specialise in training students in Dance and Drama.
While we prefer full time profiles, we are open to receive part-time teacher profiles as well.
This role is set to commence in Term 02.
The successful applicant should:
Be a committed Christian who is actively involved in their local church
Be able to provide a quality Christian performing arts education to students in Primary School with a commitment to educational excellence
Contribute to the cultural life of the College community, particularly in Dance and Drama activities
Hold a 4-year Bachelor's degree in education (or equivalent), with knowledge of current and proposed Creative Arts syllabus
Expect to be part of a God honouring collaborative staff team
Applicants should have the following skills and attributes:
Training and/or experience in Dance and/or Drama.
Experience in organising and facilitating performance opportunities for students
Actively contribute to planning,



programming and assessment of Creative Arts KLAs, especially Dance and Drama
Excellent communication skills to facilitate learning for large groups of Primary students
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with the Creative and Performing Arts faculty in curriculum and innovative classroom practice
Experience directing primary school productions along with an ability to cultivate creativity and a love for dance and drama in primary age students
This is an exciting and challenging position for someone who is passionate about Christian education, adopts a relational approach to their teaching, with demonstrated experience and a willingness to work collaboratively with other teachers, students and parents.
