Position Details Permanent Full-Time Monday to Friday 5:00am to 3:00pm Occasional weekend and public holiday work 1 position available
What You'll Be Doing
Working as part of a two-person collection crew, you'll support municipal waste and recycling collections throughout the local community.
Pulling and returning kerbside bins for collection
Operating hydraulic bin lifting equipment
Getting in and out of the collection vehicle frequently throughout the day
Assisting the driver to complete collection routes safely and efficiently
Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Following safety procedures and safe work practices at all times




Helping maintain a clean and sustainable environment for local communities
Regular walking and running throughout the shift
Working outdoors for extended periods
Navigating driveways, kerbs and uneven ground
Pulling, pushing and manoeuvring bins weighing up to 20kg
Exposure to general waste and recycling environments

Essential Requirements
Successful applicants must: Pass a pre-employment medical assessment Pass drug and alcohol testing
Hold a current driver's licence
Have access to reliable transport to commute to Hillsdale
Be physically capable of repetitive manual tasks
Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
