Essential Criteria
Relevant qualification in accounting.
Minimum two years' experience in finance, payroll or accounts within a medium-sized organisation.
Strong knowledge of accounting systems, including Xero, ExpenseMe or similar platforms.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and data management skills.
Demonstrated experience with reconciliations, invoicing and financial record management.
Sound understanding of travel allowance requirements and relevant taxation obligations.
Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-first approach.
Demonstrated professionalism, integrity and accountability.
Commitment to providing culturally respectful services and building positive relationships with Aboriginal stakeholders.
Desirable
Identify and are recognised as a Banjima person.
Experience working within the not-for-profit, Aboriginal community-controlled or Native Title sectors.
