About the role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable full time Cleaner to join the Clinpath team.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic workspaces across our collection centres, administration offices, and laboratory environments.
Working full time 38 hours per week, with shifts rostered between the hours of 12:00pm and 8:00pm, Monday to Friday.
You will utilise a company fleet vehicle to travel between multiple sites each day, ensuring all facilities are maintained to the highest standards while supporting the delivery of quality healthcare services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness across collection centres, laboratories and administrative areas.
Vacuum, sweep and mop a variety of floor surfaces.
Clean and sanitise toilets, kitchens, sinks, high-touch surfaces, furniture and shared equipment, including coffee machines.
Empty bins, dispose of waste safely and replenish cleaning and bathroom/kitchen supplies.
Perform general housekeeping tasks including dusting, window cleaning, stain removal and maintaining tidy workspaces.
Conduct routine site inspections, report maintenance issues and promptly identify and report WHS hazards or incidents.
Complete cleaning logs and other required documentation accurately and on time.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure cleaning activities minimise disruption to patients, staff and daily operations.
Contribute to a positive team culture by delivering excellent internal customer service.
To be successful you will have:
Essential
Previous experience in a commercial, healthcare or similar cleaning role.
Excellent attention to detail with solid organisational and time management skills.
A flexible, reliable approach with the ability to prioritise tasks and consistently deliver high-quality service.
The physical capability to perform the inherent requirements of the role, including standing, walking, bending and lifting cleaning equipment throughout the shift.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft office with basic computer skills and the ability to complete cleaning records or reports where required.
A current unencumbered Full Australian Driver's License & Legal right to work in Australia
A valid National Police Certificate (for the purpose of employment)
