We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Procurement
Officer, to join the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the
Department of Treasury and Finance for a period of up to 2
years.
Remuneration:
ASO7 – Salary Range
($116,089 - $125,490 p.a.).
About the opportunity:
As a Senior Procurement Officer, you'll play a key role in
delivering complex procurements and helping the organisation
achieve its strategic objectives.
Working closely with a range of
stakeholders, you'll provide expert advice on sourcing and
contracting strategies, lead end-to-end procurement activities for
ICT goods and services and contribute to informed decision-making
through your procurement expertise.
About you
To be successful you will:
Lead complex procurements and develop sourcing and
contracting strategies that deliver value for money and support
organisational objectives.
Partner with a diverse range of stakeholders to assess
business needs, analyse markets and identify opportunities that
inform procurement decisions.
Provide trusted procurement expertise and advice, helping
to achieve commercially sound outcomes while managing risk
effectively.
Build strong working relationships with clients and
stakeholders, supporting effective procurement processes and
compliance with government procurement requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor
team members, sharing knowledge and helping drive high-quality
procurement outcomes.

accountability and effective service delivery, and helps ensure
OCIO is well-positioned to deliver effective services and value
across government.
