Genus Infrastructure is delivering the Clean Energy Link North Project, a major transmission infrastructure project that will strengthen Western Australia's electricity network and support the connection of renewable energy across the state.
We are looking for an experienced
Contracts Administrator or Senior Contracts Administrator
to join the Commercial team supporting the delivery of this landmark project.
The level of appointment will be based on your experience and capability.
About the Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and key stakeholders to provide commercial and contractual support across the project.
This role will see you involved in contract administration, change management, subcontractor management and commercial reporting to help ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide commercial and contractual support to the project team
• Prepare and administer Site Instructions, Variations and Claims under both head contracts and subcontract agreements
• Assess subcontractor payment claims and variation submissions
• Administer upstream contractual claims while protecting the project's commercial position
• Support change management and attend project meetings
• Monitor contract performance and ensure contractual obligations are met
• Identify commercial risks and work collaboratively with the project team to develop practical solutions
• Maintain accurate commercial records and contract documentation
• Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
About You
• Experience as a Contracts Administrator or Senior Contracts Administrator on construction, infrastructure, utilities or energy projects
• Sound knowledge of AS**** contracts and Security of Payment legislation
• Experience administering head contracts and subcontract agreements
• Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a quick paced project environment
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Primavera P6 experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
• A commitment to workplace health and safety
