As a Trade Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our workshop and logistics operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
High-volume forklift operations
Loading and unloading trucks, parts and materials
General labouring, housekeeping and yard/workshop maintenance
Assisting with assembly and dismantling activities
Performing spotter duties
Following all safety, environmental and quality procedures
Completing job documentation, risk assessments and daily paperwork
Maintaining equipment, vehicles and PPE to company standards
This is a town-based position offering consistent hours, ongoing work, and no FIFO or DIDO requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current MR or HR Class Driver's Licence
Current LF Forklift Licence
Current Dogging Licence (desirable)
Minimum two years' experience in a similar industry role
A strong commitment to workplace safety
A reliable work ethic with a focus on quality outcomes
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
