About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our dynamic hospital pharmacy team in a full-time, fixed term position.
You will become an integral member of our expanding pharmacy department, which currently includes twenty-one pharmacists, three interns, nine pharmacy technicians, and support staff.
In this role, you will contribute to a highly collaborative team delivering comprehensive regional pharmacy services.
Your responsibilities will include clinical ward pharmacy, providing drug information, and rotations across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Additionally, you may be involved in the preparation of aseptic and chemotherapy products, supporting specialised patient care.

What you bring
General registration as a Pharmacist by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with no restrictions to practice.
Demonstrated competence in clinical drug knowledge and demonstrated commitment to professional development
Experience in the provision of hospital pharmacy services.
Post-graduate qualification relevant to pharmacy practice (or actively working towards one) desirable.
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise own workload and workloads for others,
in accordance with challenging and energetic deadlines.
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels including with patients/carers, team members, multidisciplinary colleagues and external health services and providers in a structured, logical, organised manner to establish and maintain effective relationships.
