MBL Maintenance is seeking a
Graduate Engineer
to join our Project Management team in Kilmore East, Victoria.
This is a
full-time position
that offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their professional career in civil construction.
You will work on diverse projects, gaining practical experience in project delivery, site management, and engineering principles whilst contributing to the success of our operations.
This role is based on-site in Kilmore East, providing hands-on experience in a dynamic construction environment.
What you'll be doing
As a Graduate Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting project managers in the planning, coordination and delivery of construction projects
Assisting with project tendering, scheduling, cost estimation and budget management
Conducting site inspections and monitoring project progress against timelines and specifications
Preparing project documentation, reports and managing to technical specifications under guidance
Liaising with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment
Contributing to health, safety and environmental compliance on project sites
Participating in site meetings and providing technical input where required
Learning and applying engineering principles to practical project delivery scenarios
Supporting the identification and resolution of project challenges and risks
What we're looking for
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
A recent tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering discipline (Bachelor's degree or equivalent)
Strong foundational knowledge of engineering principles and construction practices
Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with project management software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and with external stakeholders
A commitment to health,



safety and environmental standards on construction sites
Problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn and develop your professional capabilities
Reliability and a professional approach to work responsibilities
Possession of a valid driver's license and work health and safety certifications as required
Preferably, some experience in construction, maintenance or project management environments
