Animal Emergency Service (AES) Canberra are seeking an experienced Senior Veterinary Nurse to join our quick-paced after-hours emergency hospital.
This is a hands-on clinical leadership role suited to an experienced ECC nurse ready to step into greater responsibility and career progression, whilst still remaining involved in clinical shifts.
The Senior Veterinary Nurse combines advanced clinical nursing with shift leadership, team mentorship and operational support.
They supervise hospital operations during shifts, support critical care cases, guide nursing staff and contribute to maintaining high clinical and cultural standards.
As this is an after-hours emergency hospital, availability for nights, weekends and public holidays is essential.

About You
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary TechnologyMinimum 3+ years' nursing experience with leadership exposureStrong ECC skills and confidence in critical careExcellent communication and teamworkResilient, adaptable and solutions-focused
