The electrician will carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work, including wiring, switchboards, lighting, and power systems in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments.
Day-to-day tasks include fault finding, testing and tagging, performing compliance checks, and completing accurate documentation of work performed.
The role involves reading and interpreting plans and schematics, liaising with site supervisors and clients, and ensuring all work complies with relevant electrical standards and safety regulations.




The successful candidate will work both independently and as part of a team, maintain a clean and safe work area, and support apprentices and colleagues as required.Qualifications A Grade Electrical License and demonstrated experience in installation, maintenance, and fault finding across residential and commercial sitesStrong knowledge of electrical safety standards, Australian regulations, and safe work practices, including lockout/tagout proceduresAbility to read and interpret electrical plans, schematics, and technical documentation, with sound problem-solving and diagnostic skillsCompetence using hand and power tools, test instruments, and basic electrical measurement equipmentEffective communication skills, professional client interaction, and the ability to work cooperatively within a teamValid driver's license and reliable transport to Hastings, VIC and surrounding job sitesWhite Card or equivalent construction induction, with additional industry tickets (e.g., EWP, Working at Heights) considered an advantageCommitment to punctuality, quality workmanship, continuous learning, and adherence to company policies and safety procedures
