About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate
Medical Receptionist/Administration Assistant
to join our team on a
part time basis, 3 days per week.
The days and hours required to work are Monday (9am - 5pm), Tuesday (11am - 7pm) and Thursday (9am - 5pm).
This is a perfect opportunity for someone who loves working with young people and want to be part of supporting their healthcare journey.
This role is not suitable for students as there is limited flexibility to change work days.
You'll work closely with and be supported by our other Receptionist and Practice Manager to ensure the smooth running of front desk.
You'll be the first point of contact for our patients, helping to make every visit a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting patients and families with warmth and professionalism
Answering phone calls and responding to email enquiries
Scheduling appointments using Cliniko and Snapforms
Processing payments and Medicare claims via Cliniko and Tyro Health
Results management
Assisting patient intake – processing referrals and coordinating intake documents.




Maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate records
Supporting administrative processes for the triage clinicians and the wider team
Helping to create a calm, organised and patient-centred workplace

You'll ideally have:
A friendly, professional, and empathetic manner
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum 1-2 years in a medical receptionist/intake administration role.
Good computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, Cliniko, Snapforms)
A genuine interest in adolescent health and wellbeing
Bonus points for:
Familiarity with Cliniko, Tyro, Snapforms or Medicare billing systems
To Be Eligible, You'll Need To:
Have the right to work permanently in Australia
Provide a valid National Police Clearance (issued within the last 12 months)
Hold a current Working with Children Check or in the process of obtaining one
