We are seeking a passionate
Senior Speech Pathologist to join our supportive and collaborative
multidisciplinary team at Peel Health Campus.
This is a permanent, full-time
position.
While full-time hours are preferred,
hours are negotiable for the right candidate.
In this senior clinical position,
you will provide comprehensive speech pathology services to
patients, including the assessment, diagnosis and management of
communication and swallowing disorders.
You will also advise and
train staff in relation to complex disorders and policy.
Additionally, you will plan, implement and evaluate patient safety
and quality of care.
In this role, you will supervise Speech
Pathology staff and support staff in the unit / clinical area,
coordinate duties and manage performance.
Furthermore, you will
practice as a Senior Speech Pathologist and ensure practice is in
accordance to the Speech Pathology Australia Code of Ethics, the
Speech Pathology Australia Scope of Practice and SMHS policies and
guidelines.

Peel Health Campus
transitioned to South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) in August
****, marking the beginning of an exciting new era for healthcare
in the Peel-Murray region.
The transition has enabled significant
investment in the future of local health services, including plans
for a new purpose-built public hospital on the existing site.
Alongside the 192-bed Peel Health Campus,



the Group includes Murray
District Hospital, which provides inpatient medical, palliative
care and allied health services.
Together, these facilities support
the delivery of high-quality care closer to home.
The planned
redevelopment will expand services, modernise facilities and
improve access to healthcare for the growing Peel-Murray
community.
