The opportunity
HLB Mann Judd Perth is a leading Western Australian professional services firm providing audit, tax, advisory and business services to a diverse client base.
The firm has experienced significant growth and development over recent years and is now seeking to appoint its first Chief Operating Officer (COO).




This role provides a rare opportunity to become part of the executive leadership team of a well- established qualified services firm and play a central role in shaping its future direction.
The COO will have broad exposure across strategy, operations, finance, people, governance and project delivery while working closely with a highly engaged and collaborative partnership group.
The role is expected to develop into a trusted advisor and key contributor to firm-wide decision making.
The successful candidate will not simply be an administrator or coordinator.
They will be expected to influence, challenge constructively, lead change and drive execution across the organisation.
Key Requirements
Support the development of the firm's strategy.
Develop annual business plans and implementation roadmaps.
Coordinate partner meeting rhythms and follow up on key decisions.
Establish and lead major projects, strategic initiatives and change programs.
Facilitate resolution of firm-wide operational issues.
Drive productivity, efficiency and service delivery improvements through process optimisation and innovative solutions.
Lead and coordinate shared services functions including Finance, HR, IT, Marketing and Administration.
Foster collaboration, accountability and high service standards across the firm.
Act as a trusted advisor to Partners and senior leaders.




Promote the firm's values, leadership expectations and organisational capability.
About you
Postgraduate degree (preferred).
8+ years' experience in a professional or business services environment.
Eligible Australian work rights.
