Consulting Surveyors NSW (CSNSW) is the peak industry association representing consulting surveying businesses across New South Wales.
We support our members through advocacy, professional development, education, networking and industry leadership.We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Marketing, Communications & Events Coordinator to join our Sydney office and become part of our events and marketing team.If you're someone who enjoys creating engaging content, coordinating professional events and working across a variety of projects, we'd love to hear from you.About The RoleReporting to the CEO, you will be part of CSNSW's events and marketing team, supporting the delivery of our marketing, communications and events program.Every day is different.
One day you'll be preparing newsletters, managing social media and updating the website.
The next you'll be supporting conference logistics, creating event collateral, liaising with sponsors or preparing member communications.This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys both creative work and administration, has excellent organisational skills and can confidently manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment.Your ResponsibilitiesMarketing & CommunicationsPreparing member newsletters and email campaignsCreating marketing material and promotional contentWriting website articles, announcements and member communicationsMaintaining marketing schedules and content calendarsAssisting with publications and promotional campaignsCopywriting & Content CreationWriting engaging content for members, sponsors and stakeholdersPreparing articles, promotional copy,
media releases and event communicationsProofreading and editing marketing materialEnsuring all communications align with the CSNSW brand and toneSocial MediaManaging and growing CSNSW's LinkedIn and other social media channelsPlanning and scheduling social media contentCreating graphics using Canva or similar softwareMonitoring engagement and identifying opportunities to improve reachEventsWorking As Part Of The Events Team To Deliver a Busy Annual Calendar Of Conferences, Workshops, Webinars, Networking Events And Member Functions By Assisting WithEvent promotion and marketingRegistration managementSpeaker and sponsor coordinationVenue and supplier liaisonEvent communicationsEvent collateral and signageOn‐site event supportPost‐event reporting and surveysDigital & WebsiteUpdating website contentMaintaining online event informationAssisting with CRM and email database managementAbout YouYou'll be a positive, organised and proactive team member who enjoys working across a variety of projects.You'll have excellent writing skills, a creative mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.Essential Skills & ExperienceAt least two years' experience in a marketing, communications or events roleDemonstrated experience supporting the planning and delivery of skilled eventsStrong copywriting,
editing and proofreading skillsExperience managing business LinkedIn and other social media pagesExperience creating engaging digital content and social media campaignsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience using Canva, Microsoft Office and other design software will be advantageousExperience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp (or similar)Experience updating websites using CMS or any other independent website builderOutstanding organisational and time management skillsHigh attention to detailThe ability to work collaboratively in a small team while taking initiativeThe ability to manage competing priorities and multitask across multiple projects in a fast‐paced environmentEssential RequirementsBe an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident with unrestricted working rights in AustraliaBe available to work Full‐time from our Sydney CBD office (this is an office‐based position and is not hybrid)DesirableA membership association or not-for-profit organisationProfessional services or business eventsCRM systemsAI tools to support content creation while maintaining quality and accuracyWhy Join CSNSW?
