Facilitator - Burnie Hub
Part time: 19 hours per week
Location: BURNIE
City Mission is looking for a motivated 'Facilitator'
to assist with clerical and administrative support to ensure the Burnie Hub services operate in an effective manner.

City Mission is proud to operate across approximately 30 sites in Northern and North-West Tasmania, encompassing Launceston, Burnie, Devonport, and surrounding regions.
Through a team of over 200 staff and 600 volunteers, we serve more than 20,000 Tasmanians annually, offering a broad range of services including housing and homelessness support, emergency relief, community chaplaincy, mental health recovery, and social enterprise initiatives.

Primarily they will be responsible for answering the telephone, assisting with Hub service enquiries, administration, welcoming and directing staff, clients and visitors and completion of other admin duties.
This includes liaising with external stakeholders, booking appointments and completion of reporting and data entry.

SELECTION CRITERIA:
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
Qualifications or experience in education, administration or community service or equivalent
Recent administrative and clerical experience of a high standard.
Experience using an office telephone system and experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent Communication skills (both written and verbal).
Good computer literacy (including Microsoft Office).
Computer data input and updating of current files.
The ability to handle pressure and work unsupervised.
Ability to maintain positive professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
National Police Check is required for all roles at LCM.
Registration to Work with Vulnerable People is required for all roles at LCM.
Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
Experience in an organisation based in Christian ethos.
Positive history of following organisational policy & procedures.

This position and salary will be based on the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award ****, Level 3.
