The Byrnecut Group ****** With over 6,000 employees, the Byrnecut Group is a full-service underground mining contractor providing services to major mine owners across Australia and internationally.
We operate a multi-million-dollar feet of specialised underground mining equipment across a variety of commodities and conditions.
The Opportunity We are currently looking for Qualifed Underground Mining Electricians with experience in underground mining to join our Western Australian operations.
What
We're Looking For
Qualifed Electricians with an unrestricted WA Electrical Worker's Licence, or equivalent interstate licence
Previous underground hard-rock mining experience (preferred but not required)
Manual C Class driver's licence
Strong knowledge of AS/NZS **** Wiring Rules
Ability to perform high-quality electrical installations up to ****V AC
Experience with scheduled maintenance, fault finding, statutory testing and inspections on underground infrastructure and mobile equipment
Experience installing and maintaining underground electrical and communication reticulation systems, including
leaky feeder
High Voltage Switching (highly regarded)




Experience with underground mobile equipment (Sandvik and/or Epiroc advantageous)
Current Senior
First Aid, CPR & Low Voltage Rescue (preferred but not essential) What We O?
