Mine Controller – Agnew FIFO Barminco is seeking an experienced Mine Controller to join our team at Agnew Mine Site on a ***** FIFO roster.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and safety-focused professional to play a key role in supporting underground mining operations through effective monitoring, communication, and coordination of personnel and equipment.

You will act as a central point of communication between underground crews, supervisors, emergency response teams, and site management.Key responsibilities include: Monitoring underground personnel and equipment movements using mine tracking systems Maintaining accurate records of underground activities and workforce movements Coordinating communications between underground and surface operations Monitoring production and operational activities and escalating issues as required Responding to emergency situations in accordance with site procedures Maintaining shift logs, reports,



and operational documentation Assisting with emergency preparedness and response processes Ensuring compliance with Barminco's safety standards, policies, and procedures Supporting operational teams to achieve production and safety targets About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Essential: Previous experience in a Mine Control, Underground Mining, or Mining Operations Coordination role Solid communication and organisational skills High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Experience using mining communication, tracking, or fleet management systems Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain) Current C Class Driver's Licence Highly Desirable: Previous underground mining experience Experience with Mine Control or personnel tracking systems Knowledge of emergency response procedures within a mining environment Experience working in a FIFO or remote site environment Senior First Aid qualification Recruitment Process Barminco is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and supported.
