About the role
Miami Marketta is looking for an experienced Bar Supervisor to lead The Gin Parlour, a unique, premium bar at the heart of one of the Gold Coast's most iconic live music and events venues.
This isn't your average bar role.
The Gin Parlour serves our market guests while also operating as the artist green room during live music events, meaning you'll play an important part in welcoming and looking after touring musicians, performers and industry professionals.

What you'll be doing
As Bar Supervisor, you'll oversee the day to day operation of The Gin Parlour, ensuring exceptional service for both our guests and the artists performing at Miami Marketta.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and supporting the bar team during service.
Delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast paced environment.
Preparing premium cocktails and serving a carefully curated range of gins and spirits.
Confidently recommending gins and educating guests on styles, botanicals and flavour profiles.
Hosting and looking after artists in the green room, ensuring they receive outstanding hospitality.
Maintaining a professional, welcoming and discreet environment for performers and their teams.
Assisting with stock control, ordering and inventory management.
Training and mentoring team members.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and RSA compliance.
Working closely with the Venue Managers to continually improve operations.
Reporting directly to the Beverage and Venue Managers.
You'll be someone who:
Has previous experience as a Bar Supervisor or senior bartender/mixologist
Has a strong knowledge of spirits, particularly gin,



and enjoys sharing that knowledge with others.
Loves live music, events and being part of an energetic venue atmosphere.
Enjoys building genuine connections with both guests and artists.
Leads by example and brings a positive, hands on attitude.
Thrives in a busy, high volume environment.
Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
Holds a current RSA certificate.
Is available to work evenings, weekends and event shifts.
