Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced HV Electrical Technician to join our company that values your lifestyle and offers a flexible roster with job security and stability and real career progression opportunities in the West Australian mining equipment sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical and Technical support for XCMG customers.
HV Technical Electrical.
Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and breakdown servicing & Repairs.
Carry out periodic structural inspections.
Continuous product improvements.
Maintenance service, component replacement and overhaul.
Electrical relevant training materials preparation and delivery to internal and external clients when required, which include machine operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Maintain a clean safe workplace and abide by company workplace HSEC safety procedures.
Must be able to work unsupervised.




Must be able to read and understand machine technical drawings and schematics.
Abide by all company rules, regulations and policies.
Acting as the Electrical Statutory Representative, by holding a current electrical license and relevant qualifications required, in the company to ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, overseeing electrical work, inspections, and licensing to maintain safety and compliance.
Serve as a liaison between Electrical related employees and contractors or regulatory bodies and provide guidance on safe practices while maintaining records and investigating incidents.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a HV Electrical Technician within the Heavy mining equipment industry.
Minimum of 8+ years of HV electrical experience in heavy mining equipment is required.
Perform electrical services, fault finding, diagnosis, repairs, and component replacement.
Perform periodic statutory electrical testing and inspections.
Handling all electrical works, and Electrical breakdowns.
Testing and documentation.
Familiarity with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and hazard identification.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work unsupervised in remote or field locations as required.
Prepared to work FIFO rosters as required.
Certificates & Licenses Required:
Current
WA Electrical Mechanic License
High Voltage (HV) Switching Certification / Authorization
Current Australian Driver's License (WA preferred)
Current First Aid & CPR / LVR certification
National Police Clearance
Desirable (but not essential):
Air Conditioning and Refrigeration License (ARC tick)
