The Prospect
As a Software Assest Management Officer you will be coordinating all infrastructure and software change control activities and providing administrative support to the branch, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
Organising and prioritising daily IS asset management activities to meet service demands, business goals, and public sector resource requirements.
Undertaking forward planning for procurement, deployment, maintenance, refresh cycles, and disposal of assets to meet anticipated needs.
Supporting divisional management to deliver cost-effective services, minimise risk through quality assurance and asset control, and ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and licensing obligations.
Acting as the central contact for change control of IS assets, supporting contract management (renewals, expiry tracking), and ensuring adherence to supplier and licensing agreements.
Producing detailed analysis, reports, and management information, contributing to risk assessments and change control documentation, and undertaking special projects and briefings as required.
