Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Commis Chef to join our culinary team.
Working in a fast-paced kitchen workplace serving our TurBARlence Tavern, room service and conference spaces.
You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality food experience,



maintaining exceptional food standards and supporting the wider kitchen team.
Duties Include (but Not Limited To)
Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portion controlEnsure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage Prepare and ensure availability of mis en place as requiredFollow all hotel and kitchen policies, procedures and standardsProvide accurate menu and allergen information to the Food and Beverage team when requiredKeeps all working areas clean and tidyBe familiar with other areas in the Kitchen so when called upon, assistance can be provided
Qualifications
Previous chef experienceRelevant cookery or trade qualificationsExperience in a busy, high-volume kitchenStrong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCPPositive, flexible and able to work well under pressureStrong attention to detail and consistent food qualityAvailable across early mornings, weekends and public holidaysFull working rights in Australia
